Safeguard your lens with the Lens Cover for Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM from LensCoat. This water-resistant neoprene cover is custom-built to fit tightly around your lens, and helps protect it against bumps and scratches that may occur while you are out shooting. The neoprene material also acts as a thermal barrier between your hands and the lens, making operation more comfortable in extreme heat or cold.
To install the cover, simply slide it onto the lens until it fits correctly. Removing it is just as easy, and allows for switching covers quickly while out in the field. For simplified operation, the cover features two plastic windows for viewing the distance scale and auto-focus and focus limiter switches. The digital camo color scheme provides a pixelated pattern that mimics naturally-occurring textures and helps disguise your lens from wildlife. This product is made in the USA.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Sharper than the f/2.8 mk2 version?
A: Whithout question! The 16-35mm 2.8 mk II was unusable for group shots wider than 24mm because of the lack of sharpness on the outside 20%. The 16-35mm f4 is great there. It's the best canon WA ever (up until the 11-24mm)
Q: 2. I have a Canon 70D, does this lens work with base?
A: Yes it will.
Q: 3. Will I get a full 16-35mm on a canon t6i?
A: The Canon t6i camera has an APS C 1.6 cropped sensor (not full frame) so the 35 mm equivalent coverage will be 25.6 mm by 56 mm with the 16-35 mm zoom lens. Having said that, this lens is superb, tack sharp edge to edge, corner to corner.
Q: 4. Will the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS lens fit the Canon 6D?
A: Yes, of course. I'm sure you'll be very pleased with the results as well. In my opinion, it's the finest wide angle lens out there.
Q: 5. I am ready to buy Canon's 16-35 f4L. Can I use a normal UV filter or should I use a thin UV filter?
A: If you are using the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM Lens on a full-frame camera, as it is wider than 24mm, yes, I would recommend using a thin filter on this lens. If you are using this lens on an APS-C sensor camera, then a standard filter may be used.
Q: 6. does anybody feel the zoom ring a little bit hard to turn compared with other canon zoom lenses? would like if it is normal in this lens
A: Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM Lens usually has a tight zoom ring when you purchase the lens brand new. As you use it it will become smoother. If iyou need to use strenght to pull the zoom out, I would recomend getting the lens checked or exchange. In thios case you may also hear low noises when the lens is trying to focus or by simply turning the rings on the lens.
Q: 7. Does the Canon 16-35 f4 have weather sealing?
A: Yes it has, one of the sharper lenses i have owned
Q: 8. Online reviews have stated that there is a humming noise when recording video, since the lens have been out for 3+ years now is that still the case or has Canon made improvements on the IS to the point that it is silent now?
A: Sorry, I Haven't used it for video yet, only still photography.
Q: 9. Each of the two are the better lenses Canon L series 16-35mm Or Canon l series 24-70mm.Right now I own a 24-105mm also L series.thank you for your help,Paula Dubin
A: Both of the 16-35mm and 24-70mm L series lenses are some of Canon's highest quality lenses and provide an excellent performance, it really will depend on the focal length you require. Since you have a 24-105mm L series lens already, it may be a bit redundant to get a 24-70mm lens, as you have these focal lengths in the lens you already own. However, the 16-35mm lens will provide a wider angle of view.
Q: 10. i have 7d for now and want to move up to 5d3 in the future what lenses will i consider from 16mm wide to say 400mm? thank you kindly for your helpful input.
A: First let me say that I love the EF 16-35 f/4L lens. I have a somewhat odd group of lenses as I started out thinking I would not move to FF. The lenses you need will depend on what you like to shoot. I love this lens on my 5Diii. I have not tried it on my 7D as I mostly use the 7D for action shots and birding with longer lenses. I'm sure it will be great on the 7D.The lens I use most on the 5Diii is the 24-105 f/4L. It is a great walk around lens on a FF camera. I like to shoot wide in a lot of situations, so for me the 24-105 length would not be good on the 7D.For longer lenses, I have both the EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM and the EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lenses. The EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS ii and new EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS ii lenses would be a better combination, but would be significantly more expensive. I am happy with the results I get with the lenses I have, and I particularly like the 70-300 mm range on the FF camera. Obviously there is a lot of overlap here, so you should be able to get by with only one of the lenses, depending on your needs.I also like having some decent prime lenses for the added speed and shallow depth of field. My thought is that by having both crop sensor and full frame cameras, each prime is like having two lenses, e.g., the 85mm f/1.8 lens I recently purchased (used) is roughly equivalent to a 136 mm lens on the 7D. I have the EF 28 f/2.8 IS lens. I bought it before I decided to move to FF as it is roughly equivalent to a normal lens on the 7D (44.8mm). Had I known I was going to move to FF, I would have chosen the EF 24 f/2.8 IS lens instead because I much prefer the 24mm verses the 28mm focal length on a FF camera. Finally, I have the EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens. I would love to have the L primes, but I do not use the primes enough to justify the cost.
