The universal cage design offers protection for cameras while retaining access to most controls and ports, including the battery compartment. The cage also comes with a detachable top handgrip ideal for low-angle shots and a dual 15mm rod system for mounting accessories, such as a follow focus. Does exactly what I wanted it to do, BUT e careful, you WILL buy more stuff to put on this! Make sure you're prepared to spend money and find an alternate place to sleep at night in case you get kicked out of the house. Seriously though, it's a great value :) 5

This cage gives my camera a little added heft and the grip is just the right size. Made from aluminum, the cage is very rigid and very well made. Highly recommended it for your Sony ZV-1 camera. 5

I really like the wooden grip. Much better than cold slippery metal I've experienced on other add on grips. The cage itself is easy attach and streamline enough to allow the camera with cage fit into a large shirt pocket. Hoping to receive cable clamp soon for specific projects. The battery door cutout is well designed. The cage does not interfere with foldout screen. 5

I love this cage! Looks great, but feels even better. Fixes the design flaw of the ZV1 by having multiple option for tripod mounts. 5
