A: There's no reason why the line inputs should not work normally. Try isolating the problem. Make sure nothing is muted, all gain/volume controls are up, and you have a good signal coming into your mixer. Then check to see if all channel line inputs are inop or just that particular channel. If any or all line inputs do not work, do the xlr inputs work? Check to see if you have a signal from the insert. This is pre-fader, so if you do and there is still no output post fader then the problem is somewhere between your gain circuit and and output .

With regards to the skype audio in your computer, Take the master out of the audio interface and plug it into a stereo channel of the alto mixer.
