A: No. You would have to purchase a secondary piece... Either the Quickback or Fixed Back. The Quick Back would allow you to take the whole piece off of the camera with ease.

A: This is a very solid PL mount, it will support heavier lenses. However it is never a bad idea to add a lens support unit to your rig, these will give you even great stability and assist you if you are using very large, heavy lenses.

A: Yes, all DSMC1 mounts work with the DSMC2 system. This thing is rock solid for the price.

A: I would say of course it feels cheaper. It is. RED's titanium mount is $2000. This costs $400. But, it works fine.

A: Sorry, no there is not. A PL mount places the lens further away from the sensor than an EF mount will. So even if you got an EF lens onto a PL mount, the EF lens would be focusing on a point of air 8 mm in front of the sensor and the image would be hopelessly out of focus.
