A: Canon does not publish page yield on this cartridge. The reasons are cartridge yields vary considerably for reasons including images printed, print settings, type of paper, temperature and humidity. Yields may be lower when printing infrequently or predominantly with one ink color. A variable amount of ink remains in the cartridge after the replace cartridge signal. Part of the ink from the first cartridges is used for priming the printer. Ink is used for both printing and print head maintenance. All inks are used for both black and color printing.

A: Sorry, there is really no sure way to tell. I purchased this for our Plotter in the Engineering Dept. We are still trying to get a handle on how frequently they run through the cartridge. Sometimes they print in only black and other times they are using color. The paper is not always the same size as it is on a roll and cuts when the print is done.

A: It all depends on what you are printing and how much is put on the page. We used 3 minutes for the dry time on our machine so the rollers would not smug the ink after the cut. Photo paper takes about 5 minutes to dry because the ink sets on the page and does not soak into it.

A: Inks usually have a 2 year shelf life from manufacture date if still sealed. once open it's recommended to use within 6 months or latest 1 year.

Q: 7. Is the ink tank labeled with an A ok to use with a Canon iPF750? The manual says I should purchase ink tanks that have a J or AJ printed on the cartridge. But a memo at the bottom also says that other than the M tanks, you can also use tanks labeled with A . Thanks!

A: My best guess is yes, I have a 755 and 760 which both use the iPF-102C. Best to call Canon support to be sure.
