The 18 x 24" Gallery 12 Wood Frame Kit from Archival Methods is made to display a photograph, print or painting in your home or office. The kit comes with an Acrylite OP3 acrylic glazing and a 1/8"-thick acid-free foam backing board. The kit also provides a strainer to keep the material stable inside the pre-assembled frame. Matted prints fit inside the frame as well. You can adjust the 3/16" rabbet according to the thickness of the mat by screwing it down to hold the matted print in place. A Phillips screwdriver is the only tool you will need to assemble and disassemble the frame. The frame is made from solid poplar and is painted white with a smooth satin finish.

A: The MCS 20 x 20" frame can hold prints much larger than 5 x 5". However, the included mat fits a print that is 5 x 5". We recommend separately purchasing a mat that would fit your print size.

Q: 2. Could this box fit on an overhead bin on a plane? I'm going to a conference in a Month and want to travel with it.

A: That would depend on the plane. No way would it fit in a commuter jet bin. The box is pretty sturdy, but you wouldn't want to have anyone's suitcase on top of it. If I was in your shoes, I'd FedEx the box ahead of my arrival.

A: I dont use matted paper. I only print on luster. But right now I have about 30 prints in there and still have room.

A: Total capacity of system (big box) is 1200 slides. Each of the smaller long boxes holds 200 slides. Has smaller open top boxes that hold 25 slides that fit inside the 200 slide box and also includes dividers. Actual total slide capacity +/- depending on style of slide (cardboard more / some plastic less). Used the system to ship slides for scanning, worked very well. Very pleased with product.
