A: This will be hard to say. It will depend on the devices which band they support, how much bandwidth they will be using and the layout of the dwelling and the materials of the wall, and the placement of the router. We suggest calling in for more info.

A: I don't believe it will, Rhea. DSL uses a phone line, while this connects to coaxial cable as provided by a cable service such as Spectrum or Comcast.

A: It depends on where the Internet Service provider brings the COAX into the house. Some do come with a short COAX in case you have coax throughout the house and you have a wall port that you want to wire the Modem to. Some ISP providers wire the cable through the wall and go directly to the modem.

A: Yes, one of my devices, an HP laptop, runs on windows 10, and connects to this router with no problems

A: I don't remember, but after installing it you can always go online and update it to the latest. The instructions that come with it tell you how to do that. I try to check on updates every so often.
