Wonderful film from our friends at Arista. Fine grain, crisp and sharp with plenty of tonal range. And yes, it's Foma under a private label, so even better to get it a great price. I will certainly use it again!

Film has a great nostalgic look. Processed with d76 1:1. Pre-rinsed twice to remove the blue before developer and when scanned turned up saturation a bit and gave it an extremely pleasant sepia tone. Really beautiful grain structure. Def little soft so be spot on with your focus when shooting at small aperture...but looks like very few films out there. Be gentle or careful with your highlights. Can wash out quickly. Shoots more like a 200 or 400 speed film than a 100... suggest testing out a bit or bracket and take notes. Or shoot a stop or stop and a half closed down. But def gives you plenty of leeway in the shadows. I'd like to spend some more time with this film. Shot about 15 rolls and feel like I'm getting close to understanding it. Especially for the price it's lovely. Pull processed to try and get a little more detail but didn't make too much of a difference so you def have leeway when processing as far as not worrying bout screwing it up too much.. at least as far as d76 goes. Highly recommend especially for practicing and for its specific look. Bought a roll of fomopan to compare and test for myself the validity that this is the same film as fomopan.. will shoot next and report back. As well as upload some photos as soon as I finish scanning. Hope that helps.

I use this film in my RB67 and V Pan 617 cameras. I always get consistent results using pyrocat developer. Either I don't make any mistakes (doubtful) or the film is very forgiving. I rarely have a neg that isn't usable. Grain is fine, even when I make 16x20 prints. Of course we would all like faster films sometimes, but that's what tripods were made for.

I think this film is fantastic value for money. The results are excellent and the grain fine, I've moved almost exclusively to this film for my general shooting purposes.

It has a low price tag for 120mm film. You can get 3 rolls arista per 2 rolls of another film type. Seems to have good results, though I'm not one to know much there. Good film if on a budget or just wan't to get a lot of film.

Quality wise definitely can't beat ilford or Kodak. However, for its price, it's a great film. My only complaint is that the film curls more compared to other brands. I will still recommend this film stock though. Love Foma.
