In other words, if it gets a video signal, it will record 10-bit 4:2:2.If you have the Canon 7D Mark II, you are in luck and will be able to do what you wish. However, if you have a Canon 7D you cannot use any external recording because it does not have a clean HDMI out like the 7D Mark II and the 5D Mark III.
