A: Absolutely, it's a fine lens. It's my everyday lens.

Q: 7. Is this lens only for the K1 or can it be used on a k3?

A: This is a full frame lens that can be used on a K3. However, please realize that it will be cropped on the K3 (1.53 crop factor) resulting in a 35mm equivalent field of view of 36.7 - 107.1, so it becomes a wide normal to short telephoto zoom.

Q: 8. Is this an internal focusing lens?

A: It is. And pretty much spot - on. It is my day to day workhorse for Real Estate Photography.

Q: 9. Is this an internal zoom design or does the lens extend when zoomed towards long end? Thank you.

A: It is not internal zoom. It extends about 2-3 inches at 70mm.

Q: 10. is this lens compatible with the 645Z?

A: As far as I know,this lens is for full frame 35mm. The 645Z requires a lens that covers a much bigger image. I see that a suggestion for a lens made to be used with the 645Z has been made.

Ok, so it's an 82mm lens cap. It works fine on a lens with an 82mm diameter. The pinch style works well on lenses that have a deep shade. What else can one say about a lens cap? 5

After a very short time spent with this lens, I am very excited to have added this to my lens collection, and I believe it will be one of my favs and go-to lenses for the foreseeable future. Originally, I purchased it to replace an older Pentax model (of about the same size), specifically for a photo safari to South Africa and Botswana, but due to Covid, have postponed that trip to 2022. Still , that will give me lots of time and opportunities to get used to it . . . it is heavy, but very solid, and I've trusted and used Pentax equipment since my days in Viet Nam ('69-'70).
