Q: 1. B&H : Will this Nikon BM-12 fit a Nikon D500 camera ????

A: I'm sorry, no, it is not compatible with the D500. As far as I know, there isn't one made by Nikon.

Q: 2. Will this fit the D850?

A: No, it will not. The shape of the adjustable screen is completely different and there is nowhere to connect the monitor cover.

Q: 3. Is there a Nikon BM Screen for the D500?

A: I have no idea if there is a cover for a D500. I bought this for my D810. B&H should know, or contact Nikon and ask them.

Q: 4. If I'm installing DS-2CD2742FWD-IZS camera with CB110 (wire intake box to contain all the excess wires from the camera), will this adequately cover the camera (since camera is going to be displaced by the CB110 from the wall?

A: This mount is meant to be mounted when the camera is directly connected to the wall without the usage of a back box.

Q: 5. What is the largest monitor it can accomodate?

A: Since you are mounting onto the gimbal, we don't recommend going over 7" as anything bigger than that can become cumbersome on the gimbal. The weight of the monitor you choose to use also matters.

Q: 6. Can the swivel attachment be removed if the bolt on the end back out?

A: Yes it can.

Q: 7. Would it work with lorex bullet shaped cameras?

A: No this unit is designed for select dome cameras from Hikvision.

Q: 8. Is this insolated like the Hikvision SDS DS-1250ZJ to help with heat? Thank you

A: This can be used to help with heat or rain so that the back of the camera, when mounted on it's side, does not get worn out by the elements.

A: The mounting plate on the Pyle Pro Universal Monitor Speaker Stands - Pair (B&H # PYPSTND32) is 8.9 x 8.9" and will support the weight of the Dynaudio Acoustics LYD 48 Speaker Monitor, but the speaker will be hanging over the edges. The footprint of the LYD 48 is 14.5 x 12.9". You can find several options for compatible speaker stands by clicking on the "Accessories" tab above the description on the item page for the speaker, then click on the tab for "Stands & Supports" on the left side of the page.

Ok... So I just can't stand a lot of scratches on the monitor cover. Bought this as a backup. Also use the Vello screen protector along with this cover. Yea, I'm a little funny about this. 5

my screen cover gets scratched all the time so once in a while I will replace them. Makes me feel like I have a new camera 5

This is exactly what I needed to mount the Atomos Ninja V. I haven't tried adding an external mic yet (It should work if it doesn't pick up the cooling fan noise from the Ninja). The hardware that came with the RS 2 pro kit is really designed for adding handles. I could add a monitor but I needed a mini magic arm and quick disconnects. Too much stuff to fool with just to add a recording monitor. 5

If it weren't for these protectors my LCDs would take a real beating. I periodically replace them when they become scratched enough that I cannot see the basic information I need to shoot. In the process they keep the LCD clear ad crisp for then i really need to see if I got the shot I wanted before I head home at the end of the day. 5

Like many others, this is basic product that is a must have. Forget the ones that are glued-on. If Nikon felt glued-on ones were needed or useful, they would have provided one on the initial camera buy or make a good one to buy! Read other reviews . . . trying to get glued-ones off!! 5
