Q: 1. I have an APC BackUPS 600 (BN600G). APC web site refers to this battery as a replacement but the description says it's for a 550. Is the same battery used for the 550 and the 600?

A: The battery in the APC Back-UPS BN450M is not replaceable.

Q: 4. Can I use it with Ronin RS3 Pro and Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro?

A: The DJI RS3 Pro as well as the Blackmagic Design Studio Camera 6K Pro are both supported by the Middle Things APC-R Controller. However balancing a Blackmagic Studio 6K Pro camera on a RS3 Pro is not recommended, nor does DJI offically support it. Q: 5. Are all outlets switched by that little "zero-one" button?

A: The power switch on the APC Back-UPS BN450M affects all installed outlets.

Q: 6. It is interesting that the SPECS do NOT list the voltage nor the Amp Hour rate of this battery. Perhaps by knowing that it is model RBC2 one should KNOW this info but I expect to find such basic details as volts and AMPS of a battery in the SPECS.So, what are those two numbers for this battery??

Q: 7. BE550G compatible?

A: This is not the right battery for the 550. It is for the 350 model. You need the larger capacity.

Q: 8. can i bring it to travel in an airplane?

A: The APC Back-UPS BN450M is small enough to fit in a large suitcase. However, please check with the airline's restrictions on what can be brought on-board to be completely sure this is allowed. It is possible they may ban large batteries for safety reasons.

Q: 9. The average battery life when on battery?

A: The Runtime on battery varies depending on Power load. Om a full power load you would be able to get an estimated 2.5minutes on a full load you can get estimated 10.5 minutes

Q: 10. What secure mounting options does this have, for a Steadicam?

A: Unfortunately, measures for mounting have not been assessed for the Middle Things APC-R Controller, as it is meant to be on a rack shelf or flat surface.

I have had my Pro 650 battery backup for several years & just bought the replacement. The price was fair with free shipping and recycle return of the old part. I am on the coast in a windy area so power is often flickering. This battery keeps me running without a power failure. 5

We have had APC backup for our home/small business offices for the past 10 years. When a battery needs to be replaced we just go onlline to order one. Only improvement we would like to see is timed/power sensitive message to alert the user when the battery should/needs to be replaced. That way the user never has to worry about being "exposed" if the battery has outlived it's useful life. 5

A bit difficult to reconnect the replacement battery. Longer wires on the battery would help. Otherwise, everything is fine. The reusable packaging and list of disposal locations in my vicinity was great help. I also love the new POWERCHUTE software. 5
