The construction of the box and the switch are sturdy. It stays in place on the desk. Plenty of room to add a label. The blue light works whenever phantom power is applied, even with dynamic microphones. 5

This is a well built solid PTT. It does the job well. We use it for our drummer and he loves that it stays in place and doesn't move or flip around like other PTT switches do. 5

I've tried many other mic mute switches on the market and they all had problems, dampening instead of muting, noise, lack of phantom power compatibility, poor build quality. This one does it all in a clean well built package. But as others have mentioned the switch is bit too hard to actuate, and makes an audible click (not directly in the channel). If the switch was more like one on a standard mixer, easy actuation, and with no noise, it would be perfect. Still gotta give it five stars since it's the best one on the market 5

Heavy, sturdy little box. I use two of these during livestream performances to allow performers to mute their dynamic talking mics. The muting does not cause a pop or any artifact. Not sure how it would perform with a phantom power mic though but for dynamic mics it works great. Obviously I liked my first one enough to buy a second. 5

Well built, sturdy, great for a foot pedal. Likely not that good for a desk top hand switch. A little stiff for that. Perfect for a foot on off switch. I use it to control my studio talk back microphone so I use my foot and keep my hands free. Thanks Whirlwind! 5
