A: The lens will fit without the lens hood and tripod collar.

A: I don't know if it will work with you lense, I use it for a differente one placing the hood on backwards when storing it the case.

A: I bought it for a Nikon 105 mm lens (3.3 x 4.5 ) - fits perfectly. Specs for your Canon are 2.8 x 5.3 so the case may be a bit short.

Q: 10. Would the Ruggard 3.5x3.5 fit the Zeiss Batis 25mm lens?

A: Zeiss lists the dimensions of the lens at 81 x 78mm (3.19 x 3.07 ) so I would say the lens would fit in the Ruggard case, with one caveat without the sunshade. I hope this helps. I really like the Ruggard cases I have.

I bought one of these cases for an older Canon EF 24-105 mm lens and liked it so much I bought another for a new Canon RF 100 mm macro. They are tough, provide adequate padding without taking up too much space, have excellent zippers and straps, and are affordably priced. 5

I ordered this lens cover to hold my canon 50mm f1.2. The bag is short so the lens hood needs to be stored in backward position. It is thick and will protect my lens without doubt. The cover does not easily open wide, needs to be pushed up to be able to put the lens inside the bag. 5

It holds the lens safely. Pretty bulky to carry around but good for all the protection you need. You can attach it to your belt loop or belt with the velcro tab or add a carabiner to the small loop handle to hook onto something. 5
