Designed by JBL, these Control 23-1 loudspeakers are two-way 3" indoor/outdoor monitors featuring weather-protected circuitry, natural and powerful representations of the frequency spectrum, black enclosures, and JBL's proprietary InvisiBall mounting hardware. This hardware allows you to install the speakers through a hidden access point behind its logo badge. As such, the Control 23-1 suitable for venues, health clubs, theme parks, cafes, or anywhere where foreground/background music—and paging—is a necessity.

These monitors are capable of handling 100W of programmatic material at 8 Ohms, and feature a built-in multi-tap transformer for operation on distributed speaker lines. With an SPL of 103 dB, you can blast these speakers pretty loudly as well, while their cone geometry ensures a pleasurable listening experience in both on- and off-axis situations. Additionally, their PEI diaphragms render a smooth high-frequency response. But sound is not the only consideration: Kapton voice coil formers, JBL's WeatherEdge rubberized extensions, and a durable cabinet construction provide protection against heat, rain, wind, or anything else the elements might throw at you in the coming years.

Also, while the Control 23-1 comes in a black finish, it doesn't have to stay that way: these speakers accept a variety of finishes and pigments to match any surrounding.

Q: 4. How to mount the speaker on the wall

A: The included brackets have a ball on the end that the speaker mounts to. You can tighten with the included allen wrench at any position you choose. These speakers sound great!

A: They shop with the available wall mount hardware. They can also sit on a desk/tabletop. They don't have holes on the bottom to be mounted on a mic stand. Behringer makes a similar item that has stand mount holes in the bottom, but are self powered.

Size doesn't always mean everything. While being compact, these speakers pack a punch for a small room totally worth the expense. 5

I have had these for 2 years in New Hampshire on a deck - rain and snow. Then I retired to Nicaragua. For 6 years the speakers have been outside around the pool - and about 1/2 mile from the visible ocean. The grill (after 8 years) maybe needs a little touch up paint. The 4 screws under the grill and the 2 screws that hold in the wire-quick-disconnect on the back are rusted. They came out fine to be replaced. The speakers have always worked perfectly. 5

These speakers are just what I was looking for. They may be compact but they sound great. They are an excellent speaker at an excellent price. And everyone knows the Pyle name. 5

We needed to replace some spedakers on an upstairs deck and no one locally carried speakers that would fit into the spaace made for them. The speakers arrived in a very timely manner and were able to be placed into the designated space with relative ease. So far no cons and the price was great 5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received my indoor Bluetooth speakers last week and I have been using them on a daily first of they are the perfect size really nice color they were easy to install and connect together I really like the quality and the sound quality is amazing they are not too loud or low the sound bass is great they seem very durable I can easily get use too these babies they are great for the price I would definitely recommend these speakers . 5

All you have to do is plug in the main speaker, turn on your Bluetooth device, and scan for the device to connect. The sound quality is great, and they can handle a lot of power. Although they are heavier than I expected, they have good construction and can withstand being outside. The Bluetooth range may vary depending on what you are transmitting through. Overall, the sound quality is much better than my hard-wired speakers. 5
