Q: 2. Do you have the end caps for the mini poles? what does it called? tks!

A: Hi: When I bought the poles, the end caps were not included (although they are shown in the photo). It took me a few months and several emails to BH Photo, but they finally were able to send me the end caps. The bottom caps are different from the top caps, they are different sizes. Call BH customer service and tell them what you need. It may take a while but they should be able to get them for you. Hope this helps.

Q: 3. Do these really collapse down to 12 ? I need something small for travel.

A: They are very small footprint - to the length of the first node - just make sure you have a sand bag or equivalent - you can always use your tripod adding a bit for lights on top

A: Put the rubber feet on the ends of the pole. Done.

Q: 5. Is it pair or single ?

A: That would be for 1.

Q: 6. does it work with 220v outlets? and how long before you need to change filters?

A: This is 110v unit. The filter replacement depends on how often you run it.

A: This pole will hold quite a bit of weight, an a6000 would not be a problem.

Q: 9. Will this SS7746 pole work with the Electro Voice EKX15SP sub and EKX12P tops? I want to make sure that it won't wiggle or wobble. Thank you.

A: I'm not familiar with those tops. However, I do use them with speakers up to 100 pounds each, and they do not wobble.

Q: 10. can this one hold profoto D4?

A: Yes

We use this Manfrotto Backlight Stand for lighting. It is a worthwhile addition to anyone needing a stand for their lighting. It is of typical, excellent Manfrotto quality and will not dissappoint! A stand of this nature can be purchased for a few dollars less under a different stand company but I would strongly urge any potential customer NOT to purchase an inferior product ... 5

I use this stand to hold my video light. It travels in my backpack with my video camera and allows me to have a video light on a stand without taking my full length stands with me. 5

I initially made the mistake of just ordering the base, and later had to get the pole. I now have two complete stands, which I think will be useful for full-length portraits on white BG (one is probably sufficient for head-to-waist). These seem very stable and flexible for lighting BGs. Very compact, though a bit heavy due to the steel base. 5

I wish I bought this a long time ago. This is so convient to have since you can remove the extension pole so easily. The extension pole has 2 different thred screws on the each end making it easily adaptable to whatever you are attaching. 5

Solid product from Manfrotto. This is the perfect solution for getting low. Think speedlights or smaller monolights. No issues holding my Profoto B2s at all. 5

Fantastic stand with flexibility of being a short sturdy stand to having the pole being removed for even lower profile. Comes with the correct stud to use at the base and everything is collaspible, perfect for storage in my small studio space. 5
