A: There are three Arriflex mounts - original (standard), cylindrical with a groove around the mount at the back; bayonet - same diameter as standard but has two lugs that lock into the lens port on the camera; and Positive Lock (PL) -- the most secure. A standard lens mount will fit in a bayonet mount (there may be locking problems depending on the lens port) but not the other way around. You need a PL adapter to use either standard or bayonet on a PL-port camera. If your zoom has an Arri standard mount, it will fit into the Metabones adapter to be used on an MFT fitted camera. However, the adapter does not change the capabilities of the lens. Most 12-120 zooms were made for regular 16mm film shooting. They do not cover Super-16 film or same size digital sensors (there is some vignetting in the corners of the image).
