A: After re-reading your question, if you are referring to the outside-most pocket, I'd say no. Firstly, it isn't padded, so I wouldn't want to put anything slightly valuable in it. It's good for a notebook or something malleable(dark cloth, changing bag, etc...). But if you're referring to the bottom partition (which is fully padded), then yes. It should fit no problem.

But depending on what set up you have, the bag does have a squish factor that will allow you to squeeze the bag into the measuring bins at check in.
