In other words, your 10GbE ports can only provide a 10GbE connection to the router if the uplink port is also 10GbE.

This QNAP QSW-2104-2T 6 port switch gives me 10Gb speed and band width from my main PC and my QNAP NAS. And the 2.5Gb ports gives great connections to my other network components. Easy to set-up just plug and its operates perfectly. Highly recommend this device. As usual B&H was right on the price and delivered quickly. 5

Only need 10gbps to connect my Synology to computer for fast LAN transfers. I use this downstream from my router and everything works as expected. Great unmanaged switch for 10gbps. 5
