A small piece of metal and such a high price? My first thoughts. But then when I got the clamp it was like X-mas! very useful in a lot of different situations: superclamps are useful but heavy and bulky. And in most situations when you just want to attach a flash or a panel a nano clamps does the job. if you travel a lot or are a street-strobist, then get one!

I use this to mount a tripod head to the handlebar of my 3 wheel scooter and it works great!

The ball head seen in the picture is not included. That might seem obvious to other people, but it wasn't to me. When I got it I almost sent it back. $ bucks is a lot of money for a small piece of plastic. But I fitted it onto my tabletop tripod which has a ball head and it works fine. I decided to keep it. I bought this for making time lapse with my i-phone 6. I have my i-phone 6 inside of a Otter Box Defender case and it works perfectly. I would recommend this product.

I finally found an inexpensive device to hold a flashlight on a standard tripod. The larger Manfrotto super clamp works well, too, but is heavy. Works best (as a flashlight holder) with a stand-off post (stud).

I use this product primarily to attach a Canon CP-E4 battery pack to a lighstand or monopod. Its light weight is perfect for this, and also mounting a small camera to pretty much anything (including to a bike or bike helmet). I have the larger Superclamps for heavier work, and the Nano Clamp is perfect for when light weight is important.

I have been mounting my flash on a monopod to eliminate red eye when shooting night field sports for years ... started with a simple hardware L-bracket and hose clamps ... very annoying and a danger to your physical well being and furniture, car upholstery ... started using a Super Clamp and they are just too large and heavy for the purpose ... the Nano clamp meets the need ... quickly attached and removed, extremely stable, leaves no trace on the monopod ... and has a myriad of other uses for attaching almost anywhere ... and of course, the great craftsmanship we expect from Manfrotto ... very pleased ....

This product is a bit pricy. However, you are getting a quality product. The built quality is 10/10. The portability is 10/10, the design could be a bit better. Many reviews on here mention this product not securing their phone in place. You get an optimal grip when you squeeze the top and bottom from the back (where the tightening bolt is) if you squeeze from the opposite side of the tightening bolt you get a loose grip every time. A minor design flaw.

I have brought 4 of these of B&H and love them. I shoot dslr stills and Vid and find them extremely handy on my shoulder rig and tripod set up. The easy tighten and realise, the weight and strength! Fantastic, it has become stranded to Manfrottos built quality. Top stuff.
