The AIR15S from PreSonus is a versatile and customizable subwoofer featuring 1200W of peak power and enhanced digital tuning functions well suited for live bands, DJs, clubs, event halls, bars, speaking engagements, and more. The subwoofer is designed to work with the AIR10, AIR12, and AIR15 full-range speakers, but is quite capable of adding low end to any sound system, regardless of manufacturer. The AIR15S utilizes a single 600W (continuous) Class-D amplifier to power the 15" woofer for efficient and clean low-end performance with a max SPL output of 126 dB SPL and frequency response of 35 to 160 Hz (-3 dB).

The integrated and easy-to-use digital signal processor (DSP) allows you to customize the subwoofer for a number of applications, including Mo'Bass, FOH, Cardioid, and Endfire presets. The cardioid and endfire presets allow for off axis rejection and a uniform bass response throughout the room. Additionally, the variable low-pass filter and variable alignment delay functions allow you properly dial in your subs with any available tops. The Air15S ships with a power cord and a caster kit.

    Q: 1. what's the SPL on this?

A: The QSC KS118 has a max SPL of 136 dB.

    Q: 2. What's different between the v2/v3?

A: Hi, the newer v3 models come included with Pro Tools software, have more effects, 24-Bit / 192kHz USB recording. Thank you for shopping at B&H!

Q: 3. can quater jack be used to connect another speaker to jrx215?

A: There is a parallel identical Speakon NL4 and 1/4 connector that facilitates a loop-through connection so you can daisy-chain and power an additional JRX215 speaker.

Q: 4. Can I use the FX send on this unit to do a mix-minus for a podcast, when attached to a phone--that is, without applying any effects? From the manual it sounded like the FX knob would only send to the internal FX, but I see that FX jack on the console. Thanks!

A: You should be able to use the FX send without applying any effects and it should work to do a mix-minus setup.

Q: 5. What is the difference with the flying model sub. Mainly, where do the eye bolts affix to? Are there bolt holes on the flying model sub that the PSA1S doesn't have.

A: They are flown by added rigging hardware, it is metal pieces that attach to the subwoofer that allow it to be flown. It does not have eye bolt connections.

Q: 6. Is this active or passive?

A: This is a passive speaker, and requires a powered signal from an amplifier.

Q: 7. If I have 4 mics plugged in the Mackie PROFX10 can I use phantom power only for 2 lines (for the RODE NT55 instrument mics that require it?) The Lavalier mic CountryMan B6 does not require phantom power.

A: No. all channels simultaneosly receive Phantom: (Also Countryman B6 requires 1-2 V:Power Operating Voltage 1 to 2 V) Pro FX10 Phantom Power 48 VDC to All Mic Channels Simultaneously

Q: 8. what is the power supply of this model is it 100-240VAc?

A: The Mackie ProFX10v3 10-Channel Sound Reinforcement Mixer with Built-In FX includes a universal power supply that accepts any voltage ranging from 100 to 240 VAC.

Q: 9. What rating of power amp is recommended for a pair of these?

A: I would pair these with a power amplifier offering a minimum of 250 to 500 W into 8? per channel. An amplifier offering 1000 watts for channel would be a safer choice to allow for amplifier headroom, less distortion, and longer amplifier life over long periods of continuous use.

Q: 10. Do you need to change the fuse to use it with 220v ?

A: Yes, the PreSonus AIR10 2-Way Active Sound-Reinforcement Loudspeakers (Single) will need a different fuse to operate at 220V. The fuse included fuse for operation at 100 to 120V is a T5AL 250V, while the fuse required for operation at 220 to 240V is a T2.5AL 250V.

Extremely happy with these speakers. They have excellent sound for a speaker at this size and price point. I originally got the Mackie CR3-Xs and they had a lot of hiss. Took them back and got these and I don't regret it.

I have a twitch stream where I decided about two years ago to upgrade from my webcam mic to an XLR setup. Had a Mackie Mix-5 as my starter mixer. Did the job, but as I decided to integrate a Zwift bike/treadmil setup into my stream, I now needed two XLR inputs. I bought this to add another XLR mic. Easy to set up and use after my first mixer setup. It looks really professional with my setup and it works great. It also gives me additional inupts if I need to use this for my church congregation's services if necessary.

I'm not an expert with this kind of thing, so this is more of a consumer review. There's a lot of great features on this mixer that I'll dive into, but from the surface, this is a great purchase for me. Easy to understand the layout, sounds great on stream. Love having a mute button as well.

Absolute banger for the money right here. Great capabilities. I use this in corporate meeting breakout rooms with wireless mics, Laptops with Direct Boxes and so on and it is so useful and efficient. The carrying case is perfect for it too. Very happy. The 1/4 inputs work great with a 1/4 to XLR for more XLR inputs balanced and sound just as good as the first 4 XLR inputs. Very happy.

I have had these at work for a few years with great results and finally bought a pair for myself and my home editing setup. These speakers are robustly built, include cables, and provide good clean sound (not artificially boosted like some speakers). They also are surprisingly loud and do not distort at volumes I would have thought beyond their 3.5'' speakers. It's also great not having to link up bluetooth that always seems to be flaking out- these are plugged into a dock and they just work. All that at an excellent price so I can't say better than that.
