A: No, the WC plate doesn't have that switch you can see in the side view that regulates the voltage for different devices. The WC plate is unregulated, but I personally have never used or needed a P-tap device that didn't work with standard v-mount battery voltage ranges. The WC plate is cheaper, but it depends if you need to regulate power or not.
