A: Yes. Just set the D2 to slave mode and it will fire when it sees the flash. This is a line of sight trigger method and isn't always successful. make sure you test it out.

Q: 8. will this work on a Fujifilm camera?

A: You can use this monolight with a Fujifilm X series camera with the help of the Profoto Air Remote Transceiver B&H # PRAR. The monolight is manually controlled in terms of output, but this remote will allow to control the power settings from the camera position as well as fire it.
