Only had it for a few weeks, but it fits its purpose - a monopod that can be quickly extended/retracted. My experience has so far matched what Sirui's promotional videos show. If it fails in the next year or two, I'll update this review.

Used this monopod on a recent trip to Bryce Canyon and it performed extremely well. Switching the quick release head between the monopod leg during the hike (used as a trekking pole), to the tripod foot during several panoramic stops was a breeze! Not all the stops were level ground so having the tripod foot on a rock or tree stump saved the day when taking group photos. This monopod is lightweight, although a little long for my pack, well built and sturdy. Carrying it around was no hassle. When taking longer shots at wildlife the monopod held my D850 + 200-500mm lens with ease. It was easy to rotate and pivot even with the tripod legs attached. Just ensure that your camera system is well balanced on the head and you'll be glad you left your full size tripod at home. Highly recommended.
