Q: 1. I'm not interested in having an AM/FM radio, a siren, flashlights, etc. All in want is something that will power my telescope all night...Are there any similar products that don't have all the extra features? I would prefer something much smaller but with the same capacity. Thank you so much for any advice.

A: I can suggest you pose your question on some of the astronomy forums or go to star parities to see what others use. I have this product and has done a very good job for me.

Q: 2. Is this safe to use continually for a Dahua camera?

A: Sure, this unit will work with Dahua cameras.

Q: 3. Can one replace the batteries if they go dead?

A: THIS RECHARGEABLE POWER TANK IS POWERED BY A SEALED LEAD-ACID BATTERY, ONE PC (12V 7AH/20 HR). It cannot be replaced by the consumer.

Q: 4. Can this be in a humid envionment. I have a small green house and using a 10 gallon bucket with tropical fish water heater to heat the water in my pop up greenhouse. Kind of like a 3 person tent but clear. My Concern is, can it get a little wet or be in a moisture enviornment? Also it will draw about 50watts how long could that last? Thanks

A: That is a good question and may I suggest you contact the Manufacturer for the specs. In my opinion, the PowerTank will do just fine. The quality of construction is top-notch and the unit is nicely sealed. I use the PowerTank outside (not in rain) but when the humidity is high and in the snow for astronomy. It is great device for my purpose......just not sure about your requirements inside a greenhouse. Good luck.

Q: 5. If I'm getting an advanced vx 6 scmidt-cass will this be enough to power it for at least a couple hours and do I need to buy any other power adapters?

A: It will power it all night and then some. In fact, the smaller version 7-Ah power tank will do that and costs less. A couple of notes: 1) The B&H ad says it's 17-Amp, but it's 17 Amp-Hours. 2) The image shows the old version that had 3V-6V-9V outputs near the top. The current version has replaced them with 2 USB charging ports.

Q: 6. What is the warranty length? And who warranties it, B&H or Celestron?

A: Included is a Limited 2-Year Warranty from Celestron.

Q: 7. What is Country of Origin?

A: The country of origin for the Celestron PowerTank 7 Ah 12 VDC Power Supply BH #CEPT • MFR #18774 is China.

Q: 8. What is the brightness in lumens of the main light?

A: There was no specification in the literature that came with the product. The PowerTank light is brighter than my 700 lumen LED flashlight.

Q: 9. Do the Power tank 7 hour-AMP 12V come with the cable that i need to plug in into my Celestron Nexstar 6SE? D: Thanks

A: I purchased the Power Tank and the 6SE from B&H and I have the correct cable. Although it does not say on B&H site that the cable is included it does say it is on the Celestron site- Cigarette lighter adapter included . I also found a review on the B&H site that says it is included called interestingly Beware of Missing Parts . Another part I guess. I have really liked the Powertank, almost two years of use so far.

Q: 10. Do I need to buy an additional cable to use with this to power the Celestron 5se?

A: It's compatible to the 5se out of the box. See this link for the Compatibility chart. https://www.celestron.com/products/powertank-17?_pos=1&_sid=c25b3e762&_ss=r
