Billy Cobham Drums from IK Multimedia is a virtual instrument that features the sounds and playing styles of legendary jazz drummer, Billy Cobham. There are over 2,000 recorded drum samples, including more than 400 audio grooves, all recorded at Long View Farm Studio in Massachusetts, through a classic Trident A-Range console using eight Neumann U67 tube microphones.

Every detail and nuance of his kit and performance style was captured with eight velocities per drum, using as many as eight round robins per velocity (multiple samples per note/hit).
