Q: 9. Can I change the direction of the screw?

this is an awesome little rig - it feels very well balanced. Only this is one of the shoes screws in so that when its tight, it doesn't face as shown in the picture - it's off at an angle so that depending on what you have attached to it, it may get in the way of the other thing in the other shoe... This is more of a screw machining problem than anything, but still it CAN make a difference and make you have to work around it

I have over 300 35MM slides that I like to share with the family and I had left the batteries in my viewer and it corroded all the contacts inside and became worthless as I couldn't clean them up.I Checked on line with B&H and they had exactly what I needed...the transformer that plugged into the viewer and it works like a charm. We can now view them to see what pictures we want printed. Most of these slides were stored in the garage and date back 40 years of our family growing up! What a treasure to see them again!...

I really like this camera rig. It is really sturdy. I wish it was more suitable for Photography but it is really designed for Video. The only design error if you ask me is the need for a flat head screw driver to mount in on and off the camera. I wish you didnt need to use a tool to take it on and off would be nicer but still is a great product

This was just what I was looking for ... A basic grip for my Canon 80D. The three hot shoe attachments was exactly what I wanted for external microphone, light, and external viewing monitor. The rig is well made and has a good feels
