This Battery Cartridge #35 from APC is a replacement battery pack for APC Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). The non-spillable, sealed, lead acid battery is RoHS compliant and includes all the required connectors for attaching it to the UPS, as well as a battery recycling guide.

A: The APC Replacement Battery Cartridge #124 is not compatible with the SMT1500C. The SMT1500C uses the RBC7 Battery Cartridge (B&H # APRBC7).

Q: 5. It is interesting that the SPECS do NOT list the voltage nor the Amp Hour rate of this battery. Perhaps by knowing that it is model RBC2 one should KNOW this info but I expect to find such basic details as volts and AMPS of a battery in the SPECS.So, what are those two numbers for this battery??

A: The APC Replacement Battery Cartridge #17 is not compatible with a Back-UPS 550.

Q: 10. Can I use this as a direct replacement for rbc123? It seems only that I may get about 28.5% extra time/capacity as 9ah vs 7ah.

A: This is a direct fit for the unit and replaces RBC123 directly. Time remaining will look shorter than actual if the unit is designed for the lower capacity unit, but time is extended. I replaced the unit long after warranty expired so was not an issue for me.
