Separate your subject from the background while creating a swirled blur around the edges with the Lensbaby Twist 60. Compatible with the Optic Swap System, this full-frame 60mm f/2.5 lens features an internal 12-blade diaphragm for smooth out-of-focus areas. You can manually change the aperture from f/2.5 to f/22 utilizing the dial on the front of the lens as well as manually adjust the focus as close as 18" from your subject. The Twist 60 offers 46mm front threads for any filters you would like to use to further enhance your image.

The Twist 60 works best and is recommended for use with full frame cameras. Much of the swirled blur gets lost when using the optic with an APS-C sensor.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it compatible with Lensbaby Composer Pro?

A: Yes, the Twist 60 optic is compatible with the Composer Pro. Keep it pointed straight ahead for best results. This optic works best on a full-frame camera. Crop sensor cameras will notice a lot of the effect will be cropped out unless the aperture is wide open.

Q: 2. Is this manual focus only, or will it work with the canon autofocus system?

A: All Lensbaby products are manual focus only. A slight learning curve, but you'll adapt. Be sure your diopter is set for your personal vision before you attempt to focus manually.

Q: 3. I have a Nikon 7100. I see that it says works best with a full frame, obviously my 7100 is a crop sensor. Will this still work? Is it worth it? I either want to buy this and a 35 or a 50. If it's not worth it on a crop senor I'm going to buy an 80.

A: Yes, it will work, but because this lens projects a full frame image circle and an APS-C sensor only sees a cropped portion inside that image circle, most of the swirly bokeh effect will be cropped out.

Q: 4. Dose lens comfortable with Sony e Mount cameras?

A: You would need this Lensbaby Twist 60 Optic with Straight Body for Sony E instead: https://bhpho.to/3B7cMDG

Q: 5. Will this lens work with the Olympus D-M1 II?

A: Not without an adapter. Search B&H for "Twist 60 M43"

Q: 6. Is the straight body compatible with all the other optics too? How does it work with Edge and Sweet optics?

A: Yes, the straight body that the Twist 60 is sold in is also optic swap compatible. Everything will be centered. The Sweet optics will work great but the Edge optics need to be tilted slightly to see the Edge effect. Because of this, I would not recommend using the Edge optics in the straight body unless you want to use them like a prime lens.

Q: 7. Does the lens support built-in metering?

A: I use it on a Nikon dF set to aperture control (manual focus) The rangefinder works well and no metering problems.

Q: 8. when I connect the twist 60 to my sony nex 6 I got this msg the lens not well fix .. does it need a special adaptor??

A: Sorry I cannot help. I use the Lensbaby on Sony a7rii and have not had any problems.

Q: 9. Compatible with Canon 40D?

A: Technically it is compatible but this optic is specifically designed for full-frame cameras. If you have a crop sensor camera, most of the effect will be cropped out. Some effect will be visible with the aperture wide open.

Q: 10. Will the swirl effect from this lens be lost from the 1.5/1.6x crop from APS-C cameras?

A: The swirl effect from the Lensbaby Twist 60 Optic with Straight Body for Canon EF is on images from a cropped sensor camera.
