The instruments include a Musicman Stingray electric-bass (both picked and slapped), a LeFay fretless bass, and an upright bass with three different sets of strings: steel for a classic jazz sound, nylon-strings for a "high-fidelity" sound, and gut for the old-school swing sound of the '40s.

The script programming in the playback engine allows for sound design that exceeds the possibilities of the real basses with all the nuances of bass playing implemented. A: The stud included with this Super Clamp would not have the correct screw thread to fit a 494 RC2. What is best to use is the Manfrotto 208HEX Head Mounting Plate with Hex Stud - 3/8 Thread B&H # MA208HEX which connects into the hex slot on the Super Clamp and has a tripod base plate on top with a 3/8 thread for attaching a head like the 494RC2.
