Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the transmitter be battery powered? Perhaps via an Audioroot BDS?

A: While I haven't experimented with it, technically you should be able to. It's a 12vdc input. So as long as you have the right cable and an adequate battery, I don't see why not.

Q: 2. What is the transmission distance from transmitter to receiver?

A: The transmission distance for the VocoPro IEM-Digital In-Ear Monitoring System is approximately 100 feet line of sight.

Q: 3. What power level goes with which region? The SPECS says, RF Output Power10, 20, 30 mW Note: varies by region . What power level do I get if I live in the US?

A: The RF output for the US region is 30mW.

Q: 4. Can multiple simultaneous receivers be tuned to same transmitter channel to use for multi-people monitoring?

A: The system will determine what channel will be selected on receivers with the sync feature , becuase if you have too many receivers ijn the same channel you will get interference. or you can manually select the channel.

Q: 5. How does battery charging work here?

A: The VocoPro IEM-Digital bodypack receiver has a micro-USB port on the bottom and once a USB cable is connected to the receiver and to a power source, the built-in rechargeable battery will begin to charge.

Q: 6. The product specs say the reciever takes AA batteries, but in my experience they have a built-in rechargeable lithium. What's the truth here?

A: The receivers in the VocoPro IEM-Digital Wireless Stereo In-Ear Monitoring System are powered with rechargeable 3.7V AA batteries. The batteries can be recharged while within the receiver via the USB charging connection at the bottom of the battery compartment.

Q: 7. can you shiping in india ?

A: Sennheiser does not allow us to ship this internationally. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Q: 8. Can you use a sharkfin antenna to increase the range of the transmitter if you needed a distance further than 300ft?

A: Adding a PA805SWB antenna will achieve abut 300', line of sight. It is possible, in ideal conditions to achieve over 300'. To insure 300+ feet, the PSM 900 offers higher power transmitter. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1442222-REG/shure_p9trap425cl_g6_psm900_personal_monitor_system_rackmount.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/584718-REG/Shure_PA805SWB_PA805SWB_Directional_Antenna_for.html/specs

Q: 9. I have been told that the Shure PSM 300 Twin-Pack is capable of being used as a wireless speaker system like the SENNHEISER Wireless Speaker System 5 which consists of 1 Transmitter and 2 Receivers. Please let me know if that is doable. I have always wondered if it will damage the speakers or not thanks?

A: Yes, essentially you could use the PSM 300 Twin-Pack as a Wireless Speaker System. They are NOT meant for this purpose, but if the proper cabling is used, proper gain staging, and you have proper line of sight this should cause no harm to the speakers.

Q: 10. Is the Shure P3T transmitter included? It's not listed in In The Box

A: Yes, the P3T is included. Its omission from the In the box list is an error on the listing.

Quality on these units is outstanding. The value is great, too, to have two mono packs rather than just one stereo pack. We needed 6 channels, so 3 of these kits got it done. Very easy to use and pair as well.

Was very apprehensive about spending the $$, especially for live-audio gear that I know so little about. These came highly recommended from many colleagues and the lady at the store was super helpful in answering all my questions. Great quality product, and on the first use I was so grateful I decided to invest in it. Important to protect your ears on those loud live gigs!

Talk about rock solid reliability - I've paired this with the Senn omnidirectional antenna and transmit audio to 50-100 yards away with what sounds like great sonic accuracy. This system is reliable, dependable and generally easy to operate, the scanning is a bit tricky but after about ten times I think I got it sorted, maybe it's me. I would take this system any day over an Alto Stealth Pro II wireless and I own one of those- trust me - this is what you want! Add on the nifty power adapter Sennheiser DC2 for the battery compartment. In my case I wired that to a USB plug which gives me a way to power this off my battery powered JBL Eon One compact speakers using the their USB port. #winning! In my wedding ceremony speaker system I have eliminated the XLR and power to the speakers. Quick to setup and breakdown.
