Set up wireless flash metering with the Shepard/Polaris Karat Meter with this Wireless Flash Trigger Kit. Featuring a dedicated 2.4 GHz radio transmitter for the meter and a receiver equipped with a hot shoe, users will be able to automatically trigger and meter a remote flash unit from up to 300' away on one of 16 channels. The system also features a maximum sync speed of 1/250 second and the receiver is equipped with a 1/4"-20 thread for mounting to a stand or tripod. Additionally, the transmitter runs on just one CR2032 battery and the receiver runs on two readily available AAA batteries.

A: Any way that is convenient. You can put the flash on to the hot shoe if it is that type of flash or if it is a studio type flash you need to use the supplied cord. Remember this is a manual flash not auto so you have to test or use a flash meter

I expected a bare-bones flash trigger for the price and what I got was a surprisingly effective multi-faceted well-built trigger. I may even order another for a backup even though I can't believe I'll need it. 5

It has one job, and does it to perfection. Bought it for a Fuji camera. Packaging is neat, includes batteries, and tiny strap to hang it from strobe or tripod. The design is superb, discreet and compact. Setup is simple and quick as can be. It's literally a matter of switching on and off,left the channels to All. Transmission is flawless. I bought two extra receivers, and it works like a charm, not one single glitch. It's actually not so common to find a product that is completetly satisfying. 5

I have only used it once so far- but compared to my cowboy triggers-- they are so much better. The build quality seems great. Packaged well too. I think they will last allot longer than my other ones. 5
