The blue Custom Fitted Shoulder Case from Porta Brace is designed to protect the Sony PXW-X320 XDCAM camcorder from bumps, abrasion, and scratches. The exterior is laminated with 1000-denier Cordura nylon and complemented by a soft nylon interior with a moisture-resistant foam layer between them. The case features vinyl windows, for reading the dials, and a touch-fastened flap for quick access to the battery. Hide-away doors cover the controls and also protect them from the elements.

The case comes with a built-in waterproof rain-top with a separate pocket for storage. It covers the entire top of the camera, including the lens, and provides protection against rain, sleet, and snow as well as corrosive atmospheres such as sea or air.

A: No. As the following unit is designed nd made to accommodate the Sony PXW-FX6 Camera built-in LCD unit.

A: Based on the typical allowed carry-on size, this is a few inches too large. However, please check with your airline carrier regarding allowances; in some cases, business and first-class passengers or travelers with media credentials might be allowed larger sizes.

A: No, the viewfinder from the Sony F800 XD Cam does not fit the Sony PXW-X400.

I bought this Bag for my teenage son who is completely thrilled with the looks and design and tells me,Dad I'm so glad you got this bag The Bag holds the HV30, Rode stero video mic, Canon HD-W43 wide angle lens, 5 tapes, all cables, remote, lens cleaner pen, extra battery and charger. Comes with some handy extras: One of the best straps Ive seen with an extra well padded shoulder section about an inch thick and 3 inchs wide by almost a foot thick of soft squishy suede A white balance 6 by 9 plastic card with lanyard attached. Removable rigid inserts comes as a U shape. One long single Velcro tie down at one end. 2 large side pockets one is solid pocket as in the picture and the other mesh style with a single in the middle 3 inch Velcro hold downs. 5

Porta-Brace has a reputation for rugged, efficient field cases, and this is no exception. The entire front folds down with a double-zippered flap, with open access to the contents. Flaps with Velcro overlap the cover, offering excellent weather protection. There is just enough room for the FDR-AX700 with hood attached, and a divided area for the charger and an extra battery or two. The AX700 looks small in photos, but it is nearly 11 long and 4 wide in this configuration. 5

I bought the CS-DV1U for my Canon XF100. I couldn't be happier. It holds the XF100 in place with an inside cradle, zips open and closed easily, has a great carry strap that pulls the bag shut when you lift even when still unzipped. It's pricier than other bags but you get what you pay for and this Porta Brace bag is the best. My only complaint is the bag won't close with the mic holder on the XF100, but I run without that mic holder 99% of the time anyway. Also the storage pockets on the outside could be a little larger. 5

Was looking for the perfect case for my Cano XC10 camcorder. I checked out many cases,but most were either too big or too small. This case fits my camera with room to spare for a few things like a spare battery. This case also has two side pockets for other things also. The case is very well made. You pay a premium, but it is well worth it. Also keep in mind that the case is still made in the USA,which is a good thing. 5
