Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. The diameter of the loop string at 0.08 mm on my Sony RX VII and this website says the loop is 1.5 mm. Does this fit?

A: Yes, the OP/TECH USA Wrist Strap for Mirrorless and Small SLR Cameras (Black), BH #OPMWSTBLK will fit into a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII Digital Camera, BH #SODSCRX1007.

Q: 2. Is this real leather? I'd prefer PU or vinyl.

A: The OP/TECH USA Wrist Strap for Mirrorless and Small SLR Cameras (Steel) is a neoprene strap.

Q: 3. Will the loop string fit though the tiny eyelet for a Sony RX100vi?

A: Yes, the string on the OP/TECH USA Wrist Strap for Mirrorless and Small SLR Cameras (Black) fits through the hook for the strap on the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VI Digital Camera if you are not using the strap adapter.

Q: 4. How is the wrist strap adjusted?

A: There is a little plastic thing that slides up and down to loosen or tighten the wrist loop. I like it because I can pass the strap under my belt that lets the camera hang by my thigh

Q: 5. I have an OP/TECH USA Pro Loop Strap on each of my camera bodies. Does the OpTech SLR Wrist Strap use the same size of plastic clip-on connector, so that I may switch easily between the two straps as needed? Thanks in advance for your help.

A: YES You can use the same plastic clip-on

Q: 6. will it fit canon mirrorless mark M6 II?

A: The thickness of the loop material is probably too thick to insert into the M6 II eyelet. I would recommend the Optech strap for smaller cameras. You can click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/38emDZe

Q: 7. when you disconnect the neck strap from the parts attached to the camera body, can you connect the two ends of the neck portion (is one end male and the other female) to make a loop to fit over your neck?

A: You should be able to connect it, but the length will be way too short to go around the neck. That's the only thing.

Q: 8. Will the 3/8 connectors fit in the OP/TECH USA Dual Harness (Regular) connectors? Thank you.

A: Yes, the 3/8 connectors will be the same for both straps.

Q: 9. Does it fit Fuji XT camera bodies?

A: The various Fuji XT model cameras have lugs designed for split rings; this strap will work on the split ring.

Q: 10. B&H # OPSSOSB MFR # 901012 What is the overall length of this strap, minimum to maximum?

A: The strap should accommodate all size hands as the strap is adjustable at both ends. It's roughly 13 inches end to end, but I didn't want to undo it from my camera so this is approximate. I have thin fingers/hand and after adjusting it to a snug fit, there is 2 inches of strap left over at either end. BTW I love this thing. I leave it on all the time. I have an around the neck strap that uses snap connectors (which also stay on the camera), but I leave the strap in the bag most of the time. If you need to be mobile (such as street photography, sports or photojournalism style) this is great. The camera just becomes an extension of your arm.

This is the second Op/Tech USA product I have purchased and I am very pleased with the ease of use, quality of the product and they are priced right. The wrist strap will be used for street photography. I also have the neck strap by Op/Tech USA and it is excellent. The locking mechanism fasten secure. The strap around the arm for the wrist is comfortable. I bought this because of my previous excellent experience with Op/Tech USA products. I highly recommend them.

This strap is the latest addition for my OP/TECH system. The Uni-Loops are permanently fixed to my cameras for easy attachment to a variety of straps. Everything about these straps is solid and secure. The Gotcha strap is no exception. At first, I didn't trust the Velcro that wraps around the wrist, but it too is solid and secure. Easy to recommend Op/Tech.

I really like to use the strap when shooting in crowded areas. People often bump into you and the strap makes sure that the camera isn't dropped. Depending on my mood I sometimes use it instead of a camera strap.

Bought this for small mirrorless camera like the Olympus PEN-PL8 or Sony a6400, each with 200g lenses. Works great, comfy and secure. Looks to be well made.

I have this attached to the foot of my Nikon 200-500mm zoom lens. It's easy to always slip my hand through before shooting and is a great way to prevent dropping everything if I get bumped or things get slippery. It's plenty long enough so it doesn't interfere with taking pics in any way and my hand easily reaches the camera. I have tested this (over a soft bed!) with my D7500 attached to the 200-500mm and it easily supports the weight dangling from my wrist!

This wrist strap works perfectly for me. Assures safety of my Nikon Z6iii and 24-120 and smaller lenses. For a larger lens I might use a Black Rapid type strap.
