A: I've had some left outside in both hot and cold weather. I would NEVER install while the cartridge is icy cold. Wait until it slowly warms up to room temperature (wait a day). Give it a little extra agitation (shake it so you are sure it's mixed - which you should do anyway as part of Canon's recommendation).

It all depends on the colors & density of each print, for example: you might use 2 magentas b4 you finish 1 cyan & some prints have lighter backgrounds. Even Canon can't give you an approximate answer & only experience will tell. The print quality of these printers are 'out of this world' so even if prints are a bit pricey it pays off by far.
