This Eartec Max4G Headset is single-eared and features inline push-to-talk functionality and a 2-pin connector designed for use with Motorola radios. Its headband is fully adjustable and its leatherette earpad fully encompasses the ear, providing a firm yet pleasant fit. Its electret-condenser microphone sits at the end of a boom arm, which can swivel 270°. Rotating the microphone into a fully upright position—parallel to the headset's headband—automatically mutes the microphone, ensuring a more convenient way to kill the signal to the mic rather than fumbling for a button on a beltpack. Lightweight at only 6 ounces, the Max4G is comfortable for all day wearing.

A: Yes

Q: 3. What is the battery life under constant use, like during a stage show?

A: The SC-1000 radios from Eartec on a full charge will operate 6-8 hours dependent on conditions.

Q: 4. Do these include rechargeable batteries and charging stations? If not, what kind of batteries do they take?

A: Yes, they come with one rechargeable battery for each radio, which can easily last a whole day with moderate use. You can purchase a spare battery if you're worried about them dying. Just look at the accessories list and you can get a battery only or a battery with a belt clip for a little more. They do come with three charging stations and a nice carrying case.If you do order extra batteries, make sure they send the correct ones. I was accidentally sent a similar battery that fit on the radio, but wasn't the correct voltage and it fried it. Had to send it back for a replacement.

Q: 10. Will this work with talkback on Blackmagic Design Studio Cameras?

A: Yes, the Blackmagic Design Studio Cameras do have a standard 5-pin XLR input for a broadcast headset like the Eartec Max 4G Single Headset with 5-Pin XLR Male Connector. However, the levels are very low because the Blackmagic intercom connection isn't designed for loud or real-world environments. And that it should only be used with Blackmagic for a low noise environment/quiet studio etc..

I run an AV company and these have change my life. There really is no going back after using these. They immediately worked perfectly out of the box. First time I used these was at a school musical recording and I was communicating from the lobby all the way in the front of the school with one of my techs who was on stage on the other end of the building with no dropouts. Also it is really nice to not have a belt pack or having to run cables.
The only negative thing I can think is the ear pads are a bit stiff and get uncomfortable after a while but other than that I love this product.
