The Telex IC-6SX is a professional, passive channel assignment panel, designed for use with that company's Audiocom wired intercom system series. The intuitively arrayed set of front panel switches allows for distribution of up to 6 source signals to 12 destinations; these could be remote stations, beltpacks, and other wired components. Connections are of the standard XLR type. The rear panel Link D-sub connector allows for connection to another IC-6SX, which acts essentially as a 12-output expander.

A: Telex does not mention being able to listen to both channels at the same time on the RTS BP-6000 Universal 2-Channel Beltpack for Audiocom and Clear-Com Systems.

A: It will not work with any system. The Telex MCP90 is a gooseneck electret condenser microphone, designed for front panel connection to that company's RTS system and select Audiocom intercom stations.

Q: 6. How long of a cord does this come with?

A: The included 3.5mm TRRS cable is 6 feet long.

Q: 7. is this just for program audio or intercom party lines also?

A: I have 2 of them which I use with a intercom system for Multicamera shoots.

Q: 8. Is this a condenser microphone? Is this product a condenser microphone? This product seems misleading and is not a condenser microphone.

A: This microphone has an Electret Condenser capsule and work with 4.5 volts plugin power, from tablets or smartphones.

Q: 9. Does this microphone can be use to connect directly in a DSLR camera, or its only for IOS devices and Android?

A: I tried it on my DSLR didnt work but very good quality for my iphone.

Q: 10. Will this mic work with 4 pin ham/CB radios

A: In theory, if wired with the proper connection attached, the Telex 450D Dynamic Push-to-Talk Handheld Paging Microphone could work with CB radios. The 450D comes with an unterminated cable connection meant primarily for for direct integration with commercial PA amplifier systems.

Got some difficulties with the product availability but customer support was there to ensure a great experience. During communications there were some minor misunderstandings with the delivery dates but the good thing was that the product shipped earlier from the manufacturer instead of the date given by B&H. The package was missing its red cardboard sleeve and the manufacturer's seal. The product works great and there is no doubt I would buy again from you guys! You are awesome! 5

Has a semi-loud fan in the front. Does typical intercom stuff and has the rock solid performance you'd expect from RTS including the ability to do 2 channels of clearcom. 5

If you thought Apple spent time and money on your built in microphone then think again. This mic makes everything we record on the ipad sound professional. It is weird to here the playback and notice such a difference. Given the price paid for this mic....definitely a value added component for you budding podcasters. 5

I have a pair of Radial Twin-Iso in my road kit that are excellent problem solvers, and I trust them to handle any signal. Their downside is they're quite large, and so I can't find room for them in my flying case. This IceCube isolator is exactly what I was hoping to find, a robust transformer that I can subject to line level to troubleshoot and solve problems in sound systems. It's plenty small to toss in with my measurement gear and built with the usual Radial rock solid casing. Thanks, Radial! 5
