Q: 1. Our audio connection (to a PC) would have to be about 25 feet. Will that be a problem?

A: No problem we are using this Microphone array about the same length that you will be using and it dose work great. The array dose need phantom power to operate and as long as you can get a 1/8 inch female to male extension cable in the length that you need you should be good to go. Also try to keep it away from any AC vents as it will pick the air coming out of the vents. I hope this helps.

Q: 2. Does this come with a UK adapter?

A: Thi item is sold as a 120VAC 60hZ product only.

Q: 3. will the Acoustic Magic Voice Tracker I Array Microphone record to a Zoom H4N Pro if connected directly to it? If so, what is the proper connection set up to make this work. I connected mine to the H4N but there was a volume problem, I am afraid I will need to purchase a special connector for the xlr input and I do not know which one I will need. thank you.

A: Connect this microphone via the recorder's 3.5mm Mini stereo phone jack.

Q: 4. Does this have a digital or optical zoom?

A: It has no zoom at all. Only a Wide 120° Field of View.

Q: 5. How do you set up for ORTF where one mic is raised? Is there some height allowance?

A: You should be able to move the bottom threaded washer up on the 3/8'' thread male to raise the overall height of a mic clip. However, if this wasn't high enough for your mics, a spacer and additional adapter would be needed. Here's a recommendation BH #DPDUA0019 along with B&H # ONMA300.

Q: 6. Is there any way of converting the end connection to usb on this product?

A: There is not. This product works over Cat5 cabling.

Q: 7. How many MIC does the ChatAttach 150 comes with?

A: The ChatAttach 150 comes with two speakerphones. Each one has three microphones in it to giv 360 degree coverage.

Q: 8. does this work with the clearone chat 160?

A: As per the manufacturer the ClearOne CHATAttach Expansion Kit for CHAT 150/170 would be compatible with the 150/170 models.

Q: 9. Does this come in black?

A: The Ubiquiti Networks Quad-Radio 802.11ac Wave 2 Access Point with Dedicated Security & Beamforming Antenna (White) is not currently available in black.

Q: 10. Can this be used with a conventional analog audio mixer. Phoenix connector to three inputs on the mixer?

A: Unfortunately it cannot. It comes with an RJ45 output and includes an RJ45 to XLR male adapter for connection to ClearOne INTERACT AT mixers.

Great value and much better than the KM stereo bar I upgraded from. You can lock this down in every angle so it does not move at all from where you set it and it's not hard on your fingers to unlock and reposition. I didn't notice any play in the screws but the top section where the mic attaches uses an adapter screw for the mic stand thread - I used loctite to permanently attach the mic thread adapter. If you loosen the bottom screw to move it side to side you can still spin the adapter freely to take a mic on and off, and once you tighten it in your left - right position it is locked in place. I was comparing this to some other stereo bars that cost hundreds more and am very happy I choose this instead. 5

Once getting used to the adjustment, the setup is easy without any play. I like the bigger knobs that make the tightening/loosening very easy. 5

Have it mounted on ceiling (took metal base plate off and attached to ceiling with wires) in a 24' X 35' room. We are using Skype to make the call and run the other parties voice through a surround speaker system. I have tried other mic's and this by far is the best. We speak at normal volume and it picks up almost everything. Used to receive complaints they could not hear the speaker and now have received almost no complaints. I highly recommend this product. I have it plugged into a Windows 7 PC, using an Andrea USB adapter. No additional software needed. 5

This stereo bar is wider than most and provides a bit more flexibility when doing A/B mic setups. Excellent German build quality. Highly recommended. 5

If you want better control over mic placement on your stereo bar, you came to the right place. The scaled / graduated marks on the bar as well as the threaded mic mounts give you the option to make informed and specific choices without messing around with a protractor or ruler. And it is awfully nice the entire bar has a hinged mount, adding to even more options for an informed stereo mic placement. This bar will serve your needs for pretty much every typical stereo mic set up, given it is wide enough to space the mics apart for omni pairs. It will not serve well for Blumlein on Mid/ Side, but okay, that is a different stereo bar. For an omni pair, wide cardioid, cardioid or hyper-cardioid pair, you can set this stereo bar up using the scales for precise placement and then lock the pivot points down tightly so there will be no shifting once in place. And yes, there are some other options available, but this one is made well and is price competitive. It has a lot of obvious flaws found on other stereo bars addressed simply and to great satisfaction. This stereo bar should serve you well for an entire career. 5
