The HT300C Dynamic Microphone Transmitter and PL22 Cardioid Head from Electro-Voice is designed for capturing audio when paired with the R300-HD wireless microphone receiver (sold separately). The metal transmitter is made to withstand the rigors of daily use while remaining comfortable and lightweight in your hand. The 32-channel transmitter can be used for all-around singing, speaking, and voice applications.
Featuring a cardioid polar pattern, the RCC-PL22 microphone head effectively enhances voice intelligibility and reduces sound system feedback potential when used properly. The dynamic element does not consume transmitter battery power and the internal shockmount helps to reduce handling noise.

Q: 4. I already have a Tascam DR-10L Pro. Is there an adaptor that will allow me to use this (or another ENG mic) without a new rec?
A: An adapter cable such as BH #RECASEK100M could technically be used to connect a dynamic ENG mic to the Tascam DR-10L, but this would not be recommended. Dynamic microphones will need more gain than the DR-10L is designed to provide, and results may not be as desired.
Q: 5. Is this ideal for a podcast? Or is there a better handheld option?
A: This microphone is great to be used for interviews, however in a podcast scenario you might want to look into dynamic recording microphones. see links bellow for options.
