These things are indestructible and priceless. I use them to hang china balls, flags, scrims, etc. Worth every ounce, and they're very well built. Best bang for the buck anywhere.

I love these C-stands. I bought them because they were the cheapest, however, I like them even better then the more expensive ones that I have worked with.

I use this C-stand and boom arm for floating softboxes, Softlighters and umbrellas above me so that the light stand doesn't get in the way. I also use it for holding flags/gobos. It is quite heavy, which is a good thing on a breezy day. I can't believe what a great value this is. It is really well built, very sturdy and nicely finished.

These are heavy. But for lighting like Clamshell with a large octa, that's what you want. Very convenient setup and breakdown. The build quality is just fantastic. Highly recommended!

I wanted at least one SOLID highly articulated stand to positively and precisely position my speedlites and modifiers. I was tired of my spindly lightweight cheap stands topling over at the slightest breeze. This stand is the REAL DEAL! ALL STEEL. HEAVY BUT SOLID.A lifetime purchase.I've discovered the spend money once philosophy: Cheap stands and tripods used to fill my closet. Once correctly positioned; the extension arm stays tight and doesn't flex. Buy pro gear Once and go shoot. This stand will last a lifetime of serious use. Best in a studio. because you have to hire a sherpa to lug it around. It should easily handle any monoblock strobes/modifiers I grow into.

Love this case - have used multiple times for shipping and slogging on flights for tradeshows. Plenty of space for chargers, stands, accessories. Wheels are easily replaceable, another plus. Keeps your gear safe and good condition - and packed nicely for customs and security inspections.

for indie people such as myself, deciding when to buy and when to rent, c-stands are very important in the grand scheme and these are i think more professional than the typical large production shoot c stands offer.. Definitely buy this, its what you want. It can be rented and is sturdy, portable, & safe.

Definitely buy this! I initially bought two, then bought a third one because I was so happy with the build quality. It's sturdy, solid, very adjustable, great to use both outside and inside, can support a lot of weight, and the price is amazing. I highly recommend it, the quality was unexpectedly high at this price.

I have recently started using a beauty dish for portrait style shooting. The stands that I was using previously were meant for umbrellas and were pretty weak. Ample for umbrellas, but not for a BD with a 580. I decided, after seeing so many of these stands in use, that I should just get one and see if I liked it. Now that I've used it on a portrait shoot I can honestly say that I made a good decision. This thing is rock solid. The client even asked me what type of stand it was because he was the owner of a recording studio and said that all of his paled in comparison. I must add that this thing is a bit heavy, but the weight is needed to keep it from tipping. There is absolutely nothing cheap about this stand. It is quality, sturdy, and very useful for what I need.
