$3,467.97 $4,785.80

The Yamaha PX10 Stereo Power Amplifier delivers 1000W at 8 Ohms in a lightweight chassis and is suitable for a wide variety of sound-reinforcement applications. Part of the company's PX Series of power amplifiers, it features a Class-D engine with a single custom LSI chip, and uses PLL technology for higher efficiency and lower noise.

The on-board DSP functions include a PEQ, a delay, a crossover, and a limiter. They allow for detailed configuration of parameters such as input & output routing, input sensitivity, amp gain, and speaker impedance. The D-Control multi-band dynamic processor delivers a clear and consistent sound at any output level by shaping the frequency response of each speaker for either front-of-house or monitor configurations.

The Configuration Wizard helps save time during setup by assigning optimized speaker settings that match your system configuration. It can be used in basic mode for quick setup or advanced mode for more precise control over DSP parameters. You can store up to eight presets, which can be saved to a USB drive for use with other amplifiers and setups.

For secure operation, the panel-locking function ensures that your settings remain safe. With its sturdy frame and carrying handle, the PX10 is built to withstand extended road use.

Q: 1. Would this amp work for the famous studio monitors Yamaha ns-10m???? They are 50watts max and 8 ohms... the recommendation on the vintage Ampsthat were used back then have similar specs to this but I'm not sure if this would blow them out.... hope yall can help....

A: I would not use this amp to power speakers listed with a 50 watt max.

Q: 2. pyle pro pta 1000. i want to use it on Yorkville speakers 200 watt. for dj gigs in small vanues is this a good amp?

A: This amp is good for backup only I won't recommend to used on for more than 3 hour this amp is good for houseprahousepr practice only..

Q: 3. Does it have fans to keep it cool?

A: Yes the Yamaha PX8 amplifier has cooling fans.

Q: 4. Can we use PX3 pro amp for hometheater setup and home or this is for commercial purpose like events and functions .. thanks

A: This is generally used for either amplifying PA speakers or for commercial use. Usually home entertainment speakers require an amplifier that pushes a different impedance. This amp does 300w at 8ohms per channel and 500w at 4ohms per channel. Most home entertainment speakers run at 6ohms and are generally a lower wattage.

Q: 5. Is the 250W/Channel @ 8 Ohms rating RMS watts, or some peak watt rating? Please don't guess, I'd like to know for sure.

A: I suspect that the true RMS power rating at 8 ohms is closer to 80 watts. But the manufacturer has not provided or published this specification.

Q: 6. My speakers are rated max 380 watts RMS,is the PX5 too powerful to power my fronts?

A: No. Not too powerful. As long as the speakers are 8 ohm. 500 Watt amp is a good match for 380W speakers.

Q: 7. I know Bose makes one for the sub, but would this pyle work with a Bose b1 subwoofer? The Bose amp is really expensive and I am looking for a cheaper alternative. Thanks in advance.

A: I use this amp as a talk-back and monitor amp driving 2 JBL P60 speakers and it has plenty of power. I don't know if it would drive a sub-woofer. It all depends on the size and wattage of the Bose I guess. If it's over 250W it might not do the job.

Q: 8. Can you connect this to home audio receiver?

A: Not from the speaker outputs on the home audio receiver. Only if it has pre-outs available for that. A lot of models only have pre-outs for use with powered subwoofers.

Q: 9. The specs on give the box dimensions not the unit dimensions. How tall is this?

A: The unit's dimension is (L x W x H): 19.09'' x 9.84'' x 3.54'' -inches.

Q: 10. Speakers ratings, should I take minimum or peak as reference to match my speakers to an amplifier?

A: You should take both ratings into consideration if they are provided. RMS power ratings provide a better idea of the continuous power that is provided by an amplifier or when an RMS rating is listed for a speaker, it is the amount of continuous power that a speaker can handle. Peak power ratings refer to occasional short bursts of power that an amp can provide or the amount of power in a short burst that a speaker can handle. When only peak power ratings are provided, you can determine the RMS power rating by multiplying peak power x 0.7071. For example, if an amplifier is rated at 800 watts peak power, multiply 800 x 0.7071 which equals 565.68, meaning the amp's RMS power is approximately 566 watts.
