Needed a solid case for a 3 lamp LED 500 panel kit with yokes, barn doors, ballasts, and diffusion. This is a terrific case, strong build, with great padded sleeves, straps at the top, and handles on the sides. Setting up the interior padding does require patience and muscle. Worth the effort. Good recommendation by B&H.

I have purchased the LKB5C before. It is perfect for what I want to use it for. It's identical to the 4C I'm reviewing here, only 2 shorter in width and 5 (ish) in height compared to the 5C. The way I showed in the video link provided here will immediately answer ALL questions regarding this bag, as you will see all kinds of things and configurations using the most popular lights such as a Godox SL-60W, GVM 800D etc.


I took a week researching for a case that is not heavy, that has no wheels, AND a case that allows me to place my lights vertically. Just something comfortable to carry like a laptop style bag. The bag outside feels nice and doesnt hurt your body.


Finding a case that fits my Godox SL series and especially the super long Jinbei EF-200 was very hard and time consuming looking at more than 120 bag items and reading everything about it since they dint come with cases. Was exhausting. Found the PERFECT BAG!!!! This one! The button, and every corner of this wall cushion is very STURDY. It has Velcro all over when you mount. The bag will NOT collapse or lose its shape. That padded material is there to STAY. So sturdy you'll have a hard time in un-Velcro or rearrange it (which is good) I'm very picky with my gear and I'm confident that this bag protects the way I need. When I transport, NOTHING INSIDE MOVES. Impact brand is one of my preferred brands rivaling Gator cases and others. A MUST BUY. But the BIG ONE. The model before this one wont fit 4 mono lights in this way shown in the pictures.

I have 2 Dynalite 1000ws packs, 2 heads and basic accessories in this case. Much easier to handle than the big case I was using before with the same kit.

I’m using this case to store my Sony FX9 with the handles on it in my van. The camera is too wide to fit in any of my portabrace cases, so this one was the perfect size. Obviously not flight worthy, but great for run and gun. Also fits my rigged FS7 camera with kit lens.

This is the perfect bag (the yolk only sticks out a teeeeeny weeeeeny bit) but it fits the snapbag chimera, all power cables, controller in the zipper pocket, and keeps your load LIGHT! Highly recommended. Make sure to face the light UP (with the back against the bottom) for best results.

It’s remarkable how light yet durable this bag is. Its size and shape is perfect for transporting without being obnoxious to lug around. And there is so more space then I expected. I’ve transported my camera and lights in it and have used this bag extensively. This roomy bag is a convenient size for transporting or storing a two or three strobe light set efficiently. It sits nicely on a rolling fold-up cart and on the job provides a nice work station to put your camera and notes on. It comes with plenty of velcro-edged dividers so you can configure it any way you want to make it work best for your gear. I was a bit nervous that it ships flat and wondered if it would be sturdy and hold up to lots of use for mobile photography. Once I put it together (simple and fast) I was confident that it would be just as sturdy as my old light bag that was still going strong after 19 years (and I bought that one used)!
