Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. will this microphone plug into a audio press box, model APB-116 P?

A: Not this version. You will want to use the one that comes with a 3-pin XLR cable.

Q: 2. I see that in the box, there are 2xO'Rings. What is it for?

A: The O-rings are included to create a tight and secure fit around a mic like the Audio-Technica AT875R Short Shotgun Microphone when placing it in a camcorder's mic holder.

Q: 3. what stops the popping when singing?

A: The AE 3300 has a metal mesh grill which is foam lined to give you 2 stage protection from popping and sibilance.

Q: 4. Will this work being plugged directly into Roland r-26 recorder without further power?

A: The Roland R-26 recorder will supply the required Phantom Power needed for this microphone.

Q: 5. Does this mic plug into amp and work straight away?

A: It is a hard wired Headset that will plug directly into Anchor speaker with 1/4 inch Mic Jack. Should also work with any other 1/4 inch powered Amp with 1/4 inch mic jack

Q: 6. How does this compare to the Zoom H1n? There are no reviews here nor in YouTube.

A: There are some advantages to the Zoom H1n and some for the Saramonic SR-Q2M. The Zoom is a bit smaller and lighter, but the Saramonic has metal construction, so it's a bit more substantial and rugged. So it depends on what you're looking for, lighter and smaller versus stronger and more rugged. The Zoom features a more detailed screen and editing features, while the Saramonic includes a remote, lavalier, case, furry windscreen and MicroSD Again it depends on what you're looking for, will the more detailed screen and editing features matter more than a more complete suite of accessories. If those accessories are something you want and need, the Saramonic is clearly a better value because those items add up when purchased separately.

Q: 7. Can I record the external mic (lavalier) and the built-in mic at the same time and store into two tracks?

A: No. Plugging a microphone into the input will disable the onboard mics. It is only a two track recorder.

Q: 8. I just bought a Panasonic HC-X2000, Will this mic work well with it comparing with some expensive ones?

A: Yes the Audio-Technica AT875R is directly compatible with the Panasonic HC-X2000 camera and will work well with it. If you want to fit the AT875R into the shotgun mic holder on the HC-X2000, you will need B&H # SAROCS.

Q: 9. I don't need stereo for DSLR XLR adaptor cable. Will this still work for basic audio from a Sennhesier mic?Sescom SES-DSLR-ST-MIC XLR Stereo Mic to DSLR Audio Input Adapter Cable (10')

A: The Sescom SES-DSLR-ST_MIC is actually an output cable designed to output audio to PA systems from small cameras and recorders with a 1/8 output. In order to connect a standard dynamic or battery powered mic to a DSLR, you can use a standard XLR cable to run the length, and an adapter such as the Kopul LMT-100 to input into the DSLR. a href= http://bhpho.to/1yMIinD target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1yMIinD/a

Q: 10. Does this microphone work as a replacement microphone with the older Fender Liberty Platinum 7500?

A: No, the Anchor Audio WH-8000 16-Channel UHF Wireless Handheld Microphone is not a compatible replacement microphone for Anchor (or Fender) Liberty Series systems. The WH-8000 is designed for use with Anchor's 8000 and F1+ Series speaker systems.

I've been using a Shure Beta 58 for about twenty five years for vocals. I needed another backup mic and decided to try this Audio Technica AT 2010. The frequency response is great. The power the mic puts out is much more than the Beta 58, of course the Shure is a condenser mic so it was expected that the AT 2010 with phantom power would deliver more punch. It also is very accurate and picks up every nuance in your voice. I also have Audio Technica shotgun mics and studio large diaphragm mics that also are great. My only complaint is that it is so sensitive and if you have a bad vocal night it will unforgiving hitting some high notes, where as the Shure does not have the frequency response and is more forgiving.

I recommend this product to the ones who want to record high SPL sound sources through condenser microphone. However the quality of the sound seems a bit colored.

This is s great vocal mic for the price. I like the sound of it better than all the other $100 mics, including the Shure SM58 and the Sennheiser e835. Just hope it is as reliable as them.

Great mic for the price. Good for podcasting or VO use, if you want the same capsule as the AT2020 in a more portable package.

This is a very nice microphone. Great for my setup, provides high fidelity with a wide frequency range. May be a little difficult to control against feedback.

I have several audio-technica mics. I jumped on this one because of the great price at B&H. I checked it out when it arrived and I couldn't be happier. Light weight but solid. Great audio.

I used it recently with a Behringer MIC2200 and QX1832USB at a live stage performance at my church. The mic was used by both male and female vocalists for singing and speech. I'm extremenly happy with the performance and ease of setup.

I use my Anchor Liberty for ceremonies mostly on the beach and this system has worked perfectly. Not a single drop out on the wireless mics. I have one lapel and one handheld. No issues at all. Quality is as good as the shure PGX or BLX series microphones. 25 weddings so far with no issues. I wish I could say that for all of my wireless systems.
