The Arrow3 Fluid Head from Miller offers a 2.2 to 41.8 lb payload range and five selectable pan-tilt fluid drag positions, making it suitable for news gathering and documentaries. It features precision fluid drag with a 16-position CB Plus counterbalance system. CB Plus is a sequential counterbalance design, featuring eight larger counterbalance steps that allow you to quickly and efficiently achieve the required counterbalance position. The system's one flick switch located at the front of the head adds a half step between each of the eight larger steps enabling counterbalance fine-tuning when required.

A: With 16 selectable counter balance positions ( including 0 ) as well as 4 drag settings ( including 0 ) , running light weight cameras such as the GH5 or Pocket Cinema Camera do well.

A: It comes with a pan handle. You can however get an extra one if you wish. Miller 681 Pan Bar Handle for Select Video Heads B&H # MI681.

A: Yes, the Miller AIR Fluid Head has a removable ball level stud for flat base mounting (sliders) with 3/8” screw hole.

Q: 7. Will Manfrotto plates work with this head?

A: No, sorry they are not compatible. If you must use Manfrotto, you could use the Manfrotto 577 Rapid Connect Adapter with Sliding Mounting Plate (501PL) B&H # MA577 or the Manfrotto 357 Pro Quick Release Adapter with 357PL Plate B&H # MA357. You would attach either of these to the Miller quick release.

A: Those of us at B&H who have used it, like the overall feel of this head and its operation with a variety of cameras. We have had no complaints regarding any lack of drag.

A: Yes.

Q: 10. I have some old Bogen/Manffroto telescopic pan arms with rosette clamps. will these fit on the CX series head rosettes? they look similar but my CX6 tripod system hasn't arrived yet so I can't try it...

A: We cant know for certain without knowing the exact model tripod arm however it is usually safe to assume that it will not work. There is no universal standard rosette size/pattern for tripod arms and even Manfrotto/Bogen have a few variations of their rosette arm.
