A favorite of fashion shooters, the 20" MaxiBeauty Reflector from Hedler is a light shaper with a signature diffuser with a crisp look that is very flattering to textures, hair, and makeup. Able to handle up to 1000W, the reflector bounces the light off of a central internal deflector which directs it outward to fill the soft white interior. The reflector is compatible with all Hedler lights except the C-Lights which need a speed ring C for use.

Q: 1. Can this be folded up with the zippered material attached? Or does the zippered material have to be put on it each time?

A: I am not exactly sure of what your question is, but they don't fold at all. You have to open the zipper to pull them out or put them back. Then when you flip them inside out, yes you can still close the zipper.

Q: 2. Does this reflector fold down into a smaller package for carrying?

A: Yes the reflector folds down to 1/3 of its size into a carry case.

Q: 3. the specs say it has a white surface but the overview says black, no white.....soooooo?

A: The 6 in 1, has two diffuser panel frames ( 1 stop, 2 stop), and a reversible zippered cover. The reversible cover has 4 faces. Black, Reflective Gold, Reflective Sunlight, and Reflective Silver. There is no plain white. The Reflective Sunlight is slightly warmer than white.

Q: 4. Is this reflector collapsible?

A: Yes it is, folds down to about 1/3 of its open size.

Q: 5. Would this fit on Godox AD200 moonlight?

A: You would need a Bowens speed ring https://bhpho.to/2YngxC1 and a S2 adapter https://bhpho.to/34jdQ6K.

Q: 6. Does this come with a case?

A: No case, just all together in a box.

Q: 7. Does this kit consist of 2 reflectors or just one?

A: It contains two, one has a cover on it (front and back) that you can use both sides and then unzip it and use the underneath sheer one too. and there is a second one as well

Q: 8. is there a white surface??

A: Yes, the two interior panels are white diffusion panels, one can be used as a reflector and the other one is more transparent and works better for diffusion.

Q: 9. What size does it fold down into?

A: Collapsibles fold down to about 1/3 of their full size. This will fold down to about 12" or so.

Q: 10. How many stops is the diffusion panel?

A: Westcott states the diffuser density is one (1) f-stop reduction of light.

I don't leave home without it. Any bigger and a frame would be needed, as is, it's the perfect size for waist up portraits ect... Love it!!! 5

Allows for GREAT light control! Bouncing and reflecting light, the +1 diffusion panel helps soften stobes and providing a more natural soft light exposure. 5

I have only used the reflector for outdoor portraits so far, but it does wonders projecting a nice, soft fill light back onto the subject. The versatility of the product is wonderful; having six options at your fingertips to choose from is great! It takes a little getting used when folding it back up, but once you get the hang of it, there's nothing to it! Awesome product! 5

The sturdiness and durability of the reflectors are great. I recently used them for a photo shoot and the lighting was perfect. The side with gold and silver mixed together works really well, makes the face glow very nicely, not too white and not too yellow. When the model is almost blinded by the light coming from the reflector, you know it's good! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this kit... 5

I love this kit - 2 panels, and then reversible covers for black, silver, gold, and sunset .. They are large- you get full body coverage with these. The metal bar can twist in these, but it's pretty easy to straighten back out .. a little patience and it'll flip back where it belongs. Watch the available videos to know the right way to collapse them - otherwise .. they are a breeze to use. 5

The size is perfect to use easily everywhere. I thought it will be more complicated to fold, but i wasn't at all :) I've used so far the gold, metallic, and 1 stop. 5

Great Value and product. Love the size, weight and variety of reflector surfaces. A little on the heavy side, but it's 2 reflectors, not one. Appears durable. 5

Been using these reflectors for a while and just bought another. Very versatile with the 6-in-1, I've used them all in different situations and love that I just have one small reflector case to carry around. 42 is a good size for tighter shots (head and shoulder and close ups). The metalics are highly reflective with the colour you want, the white is great for a slight bounce, black as a cutter, the diffusions great in sunlight, sunlight silver is great for adding a slight tan. I don't always use the stand but when I do it works great. 5

I bought this for portrait work. I liked that it came with a black cover as I sometimes need to subtract light when I am shooting over snow. It packs well, is plenty big and does everything advertised. Also, being square means that it will stay still and not roll away. 5
