The 39" MaxiSoft L Strip Softbox from Hedler is an ideal choice for portraiture where its large surface area lends a wrap-around quality that is especially prominent when used close-up. Another benefit of the octagonal shape is the natural-looking circular catchlights reflected in the subject's eyes. The MaxiSoft Octagon rotates 360 degrees and is useable on Hedler lights up to 2500W. C-Lights require the optional Speedring C for use.

A: yes to both. The flash sits on a bracket and bulb is angled into the box so no weight is on swivel which is the smart way. Using speed rings with boxes, keeps weight on the swivel and i've rebuilt my swivels on both my quantums 4-6 times each. I have a beautiful metal beauty dish with a detachable metal honey comb grid for my Quantum also. That fits into the bulb socket as any reflector would. I don't remember where I bought it. This Box though that is listed, is really nice light and I questioned the price but I have two now. I've bought the $50 pop out type and they don't hold up, nor is the light near as nice. This travel with me.

A: As long as you have the right adapter ring, you wiil be OK. I orderef this modifier with my Bowen mount and it works like a charm. Excellent lighting and very easy to set up.

A: I use mine with Godox AD600 which has Bowens mount. As long as your light has a Bowens mount it should. Its a huge softbox. I love it.

Called in for a last minute job, corporate event with head shots for the execs. Literally picked this up on my way to the event. Great results and I'm a beginner ( yes the guy they call at the last minute). Easy set up and quick connect to my monolight But i would advise that the best way to open is to rest the ring on the floor and push the center stem ring down as it took a lot of force and if you try it against your chest or �in your hands it's difficult. Like I said they were very happy with the results . 5

Overall I’m glad I bought this softbox. Can’t beat the price. Easy to setup although it does require some effort to lock the umbrella. Also, be careful that your fingers don’t get pinched when disassembling. 5

There are better quality and easier to use modifiers out there but, for the price you cannot beat this one! It is very complete, sets up and breaks down fairly easily, and comes with a nice carrying bag. If you use the soft box properly it will last. 5
