A: Anything above CRI of 82 is very good.

A: about 160 small LEDs in a square configuration around the hole you can see in the top side. Very happy with this item, better results than I expected. Light is quite even unless the object is within 10 of the top of the box where it understandably gets a little too bright. For 18 tall items and under it is great.

As it is a continuous light source, if you are comfortable with using your smartphone/iPhone for capturing product photos, it can definitely be used. As it has interior lighting and a reflective interior, you would get much better images compared to the images you would capture with your iPhone by itself using its built-in flash, and it would also provide a much cleaner and professional-looking background and lighting environment for your images.

A: They are arranged in a square. It comes with a diffuser cloth that covers the LED square. If you are photographing something highly reflective sometimes you can see the square but most times you can't see anything.

A: The box itself is pretty good for basic quick shots for photoshopping later. I've been using it for product shots for our business for the past 4 years. The opening itself is nice. There's either the standard pull down flaps to quickly open and keep open for taking the shots. Or you can also easily pull down the whole panel to insert a larger item (i.e. cakes) as all the panels are velcro. If you're looking for something easy and manageable then i recommend this one. I had a few other flimsy boxes in the past, and this one so far has been my favorite for my needs.

A: Im not sure if you can buy one from B&H? I found that the one provided wasnt sufficient so I use my own home made scrim and just lay the LED lights on mine with the original under mine.
