Q: 1. What is the secret to get these transceivers to sync up? Tried for hours and they never turned the same color even after countless times rereading and following the lame directions. Can't find any tech support for this product online. Wondering if there is a way to reset them.

A: I think you need to sync the colors before you plug in your dmx signal. There's an inset button on each. You can press it with paper clip or toothpick. If memory serves... They will possibly change color after signal is hooked up but should still work. Try that. I don't have mine handy or I'd check it now. Garth.

Q: 2. could this control each lamp separately with DMX board? for example; one lamp @50% green, and the other 75% red,...etc ?

A: All lamps are controlled as one.

Q: 3. can the base footprint be adjusted? if I do not want to fully extend the legs?

A: Hi David,The short answer is no. The triangular footprint is designed to provide maximum stability when the legs are fully extended and the 3 wheels are angled correctly to roll smoothly on the floor. When properly set up, the 3 sets of orange coloured support bars should be parallel with the floor. I bought 2 of these from B&H last Fall and I choose them after months of research. They are build to last, very sturdy and heavy but if you need the mount a monolight and softbox securely, these Matthews stands tick all the boxes. Hope this helps, Gerry

A: This Fujifilm FAN-001 is strictly for the Fujifilm X-H2S.

Q: 7. Will this work with the ARRI Skypanel?

A: This does work great with the skypanels. I added the Star tech USB to Type H barrel to power off the USB port on the Sky panels. Make sure your USB is in normal not service mode on the head. These units operate on 5vdc so no trasformer needed. I have had 2 out of 20 units with bad solder joints. Easy fix. They seem to be very noise free in many envoirments. I have used to about 100m without issues. Instant response time for hot cue also. Hope this helps.

A: Yes, you can rotate the camera on the existing mount to aim straight down.

Q: 10. What is the purpose of two strips/stickers that is shipped with each SL-Infinity fan?

A: I believe you are referring to the Lian Li 120mm UNI FAN SL-INFINITY Case Fan's (Black) Magnetic Adhesive Pad, which is a adhesive strip that can be used to aid with mounting the fan.

The kit is nice and easy to setup and use. It is lightweight and a lot more compact than some of the other kits I use. The light is pretty powerful and is a warm color. My only complaint would be that the carrying bag doesn't really offer any protection for the contents. You will need to add a shipping pad, blanket, or some other type of padding to the case so the parts don't destroy each other bouncing around in transit. Other than that, it is a very nice and compact kit. 5

Works well - is very well machined and assembled / solid bit of gear for any octo mount box that can handle constant light. Cool down takes less time than expected for so much metal. 5
