Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it come with Mike and cassettes?

A: Those items must be purchased separately.

Q: 2. Can two different paper sizes be used simultaneously without having to intervene?

A: The Canon Paper Cassette AH1 can only fit 1 size paper at a time. However, since this is an add on tray you can use a different size paper in the printer (such as letter size) and use legal size in the Canon Paper Cassette AH1. When printing, you would need to choose tray 1 or 2 in order to print on the correct size paper.

Q: 3. Are these reusable or one-time use only?

A: The Kalt 35mm Cassette for Bulk Film (Plastic, 20 Cassettes) can be reused if properly cared for.

Q: 4. Is there a USB port on the side?

A: Hmm, the one I bought has a USB on the front, it is slightly different from the one pictured. It is a model HA-802. Maybe the one pictured is a slightly older model?

Q: 5. What blade cartridge is in this unit? I need a 2282 SCT (black). If not, do you sell the 2282 separately? Thank you for the help.

A: The 2240 Green Blade is included with the Stripper CST Pro. Unfortunately, we don't offer the blades for sale on their own.

Q: 6. Does this fit Arri L7-C Fresnel?

A: It looks like it should fit with the appropriate speed ring to attach, shown below. However, I can not confirm 100% as we use ours with Arri 1000 and 650 Fresnel fixtures.

Q: 7. Does the headphone output also function as a line out for connection to other audio devices for playback or digitization?

A: It is technically possible to connect the headphone output of the FiiO CP13 Portable Stereo Cassette Player (Transparent/Silver), B&H # FICP13TRANS, to a line level input, but the difference in impedance between the output and the input may result in low volume, distortion, or other quality issues.

Q: 8. What scanners is the Negative Supply 120 FBSC compatible with, and is there 35 mm version?

A: The Negative Supply 120 Full-Border Scanning Cassette is designed for DSLR or mirrorless camera-based film scanning rather than flatbed scanning. The Negative Supply Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 is a great option for 35mm.

Q: 9. Hi, i would like to know the running time for the tape digibeta BTC-D124L is the same for NTSC and PAL? or PAL goes further/less than 124 minutes?

A: PAL records at 50i, which is 25 frames per second compared to 60i which is 30 frames per second in NTSC. Because of that you will get 148 minutes of recording time with this tape in a PAL system.

Q: 10. With the right speed ring(s) for each light, is it possible to use this with both the Arri 650 and Arri 150 fresnels?

A: For the Arri 150F use speed ring # CHSRC3VP, For the Arri 650F Ring # CHSRAC65VP

What's not to love? Stylish, water-resistant and waterproof (bottom), fully customizable insides, padded, plenty of roomy external pockets for cables, media, card readers, batteries, chargers, and personal items (handy as carry-on which I use it for.) Great zippers.
Very robust. Very breathable when wearing.

I carry a Blackmagic Design PCC6K with three XEEN lenses, a 5 monitor mounted to the camera, 8 batteries, two chargers, cables, and lots of room for everything else.

Oh yeah-- the inside of the zippered lid is padded and holds my MacBook Pro, a notepad, and DSC Labs ChromaDisk.

Carry-on compliant (will fit under a seat-- snugly-- and in overhead compartments.)

I have many ORCA bags and cases, for lights, cameras, and accessories. They consult with actual, experienced filmmakers: cameramen and sound mixers-- for strategic input when designing their products. And it shows. Easily my favorite for design and function. Highly recommended.
