A: I've never used vellum but I have used this translum 2 ways. As a backdrop for headshots with a softbox placed directly behind and one in front to light my subjects. The backlight is just perfect for this and illuminates the subject perfectly. I've also used it with backlight only for maternity sillouhettes and it works great for that as well. It seems to be very durable but you do have to be careful not to crimp or bend it as it blanches out when pinched.

A: I only ordered the Green Screen alone, not the stands. I use a couple of grlp stands for support. I can tell you that the fabric is great. It is made of a material that has a degree of stretch to it, so getting it set without any wrinkles is pretty easy. I am very pleased with this purchase.

A: I'm gonna guess that there are different models of this basic design. My 9X10 green screen has about a 2 loop running along the top (for a rod, for example) and then three brass grommets along that same side. One on each end and then the third in the middle.
